💙 Give Big Gallatin Valley returns May 1-2 for its 11th year! This 24-hour giving event has raised over $17.6 million for local nonprofits since it began. Mark your calendar for 6pm on May 1st through 6pm on May 2nd to support your favorite causes among 250+ participating organizations. Details.

📻 KGLT's Annual Fund Drive runs April 27-May 3! Support your favorite alternative public radio station by calling 406-994-4492 to make a donation. Check out their new Donor Lounge featuring this year's t-shirts, hats, and mugs, plus vintage gear. Details.

Wednesday 4/30

🇺🇸 Vietnam Remembrance Ceremony at the Vietnam Memorial Wall (Sunset Hills Cemetery) at 11:00am. Join this solemn 50th anniversary commemoration of the end of the Vietnam War, featuring a POW/MIA tribute service and roll call of the fallen. Hosted by local veterans' organizations. All welcome. 🎷 International Jazz Day Concert at Reynolds Recital Hall (MSU) at 7:30pm. Directed by Professor Ryan Matzinger, this celebration of jazz features performances by MSU jazz students and faculty. Tickets: $15 general, $5 MSU students, free for PreK-12 students. Tickets available at the door or online here.

🎤 Open Mic Night at Bunkhouse Brewery from 6:00pm-9:00pm. All musicians, comedians, poets, and spoken word performers welcome to take the stage. Free to attend and participate. Details.

🎨 New to You Art Sale at The Emerson from 12:00pm-7:00pm. Shop pre-loved original artwork at affordable prices at this fundraiser supporting the arts center. Details.

🦕 Presenting Prehistory: Denali's Dinosaur Trackways at the Museum of the Rockies (Hager Auditorium) at 5:30pm. Fossil Preparator Cassi Knight shares discoveries from Denali National Park's 70-million-year-old ecosystem and dinosaur trackways. Free for members, $5/non-members. Details.

🔥 Campfire Kickoff with Yellowstone Forever at The Lark from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Join this free camping-themed event celebrating the start of Give Big Gallatin Valley 2025. 🌱 Volunteer for the Greek Creek Campground Riparian Planting from 11:00am-4:00pm. Help the Gallatin River Task Force install plants and fencing to stabilize riverbanks and create wildlife habitat along the Gallatin River. Meet at Greek Creek Campground off Highway 191. 🛍️ Bozeman Spring MADE Fair at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. This modern handcrafted market features 190+ artists selling everything from affordable functional items to heirloom fine art pieces. $5 for early bird access (9-10am), free entry (10am-4pm). Details.

🚲 2025 Bike Swap at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. Open to the general public from 9:00am-11:45am. Shop a huge variety of used bikes for all ages and riding styles, plus accessories, parts, tools, and clothing at various price points. Details.

🎵 A Night of Hope with Stephanie Quayle at the Armory Music Hall. Doors open at 6:00pm, with Bitter Roots Revival playing @ 7:00pm, followed by Nashville recording artist and Montana native Stephanie Quayle @ 8:00pm. All proceeds benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Montana Chapter. All ages welcome. Tickets.

Sunday 5/4

✂️ Crafternoon: Lego Printmaking at the Bozeman Public Library (Community Room) from 2:00pm-4:00pm. Create modern art using Legos and printmaking techniques. Open to ages 18+, no registration needed, and all materials provided. Details.

🎵 Gallatin Valley Concert Band: “Big Screen Bold Sounds!” at Willson Auditorium at 2:30pm. Enjoy music from Star Wars, E.T., Wicked, and more, directed by MSU's Dr. Derek Bannasch. Free and open to the public! Details.

🎬 “The Memory of Darkness, Light, and Ice” at the Emerson Center at 7:00pm. The Bozeman Doc Series closes its tenth season with this film about scientists studying sediment from a Cold War Arctic base that holds clues about Greenland's ice sheet history. Director Kathy Kasic will be present for a post-film panel with local experts. Details.
