Howdy, Bozeman!
Congrats to our Country Bookshelf giveaway winner - Allie Garcia! 🎉 Just sent you an email with the details.
A quick heads up: with Thursday falling on Christmas day, we will be sending our weekend events newsletter first thing on Friday morning!
It’s a slower week for events in town, so our newsletters will be a little shorter this week. But I hope you’re still able to get out there, enjoy the season, and have a wonderful Christmas 💛
In today’s newsletter:
🎄 Merry Christmas!
🤠 Top local events this week
✨ Meet Caitlin of Little Arms Creative, our featured artist of the week
🐶 Bailey is looking for a forever home
🍞 A scrumptious sourdough bread giveaway
— Sam Buenrostro
P.S. We’ve added a short poll at the end of today’s newsletter! With 2025 winding down, I’d love to hear your feedback on Howdy Bozeman (things you’ve loved, things you’d like to see more of in 2026, and anything else you’d like to share). Thank you for reading!
P.P.S. For free entry into this week’s giveaway, reply to this email with the word “BREAD”.
And for a BONUS entry, reply with a shoutout to someone who made your week better 🤩 Include their name and what you appreciate about them, and we’ll share some of the top answers in next Monday’s newsletter (your answers will be anonymous!)
Here are some of last week’s replies:
Forever grateful to my family and friends, especially my mom, Tracy, for helping me through my first round of law school finals last week - love you guys!
Shoutout to my lovely friends for making our "bring a board" (charcuteries style) holiday event so much fun!
Shoutout to Emily, my friend and hockey teammate who is constantly a ray of sunshine. She is so great at getting friends together and making everyone feel seen and loved. Especially during this time of year, it is so lovely to be graced by her presence.
Shoutout to my partner Nathan for all he does for me (especially turning off the fan in the middle of the night haha)
Shoutout to my partner Gabe, who’s surgery recovery is finally over and he’s starting to live his best life again!
Shout out to my daughter Kassi who handled all the logistics at our store, The Cave, for our annual Christmas stroll in Big Sky. Big relief to not have to plan or cook any of the food & drinks. 😊
Shoutout to my amazing wife, Martha Terril! She’s been encouraging me and supporting me this week in amazing ways! Thanks so much for everything hun bun!
Shoutout to my colleague, Heather, for never failing to make me laugh and always pushing me to grow.
I am grateful this week to my friend Susan, who surprises me with random acts of kindness just when I need it most.
Huge shoutout to my husband who finished installing a bathtub in our house, despite knowing nothing about the process. It's been a dream of mine to have a tub again and he learned everything he needed to make it happen just in time for winter!
