Here are some of last week’s replies:

My shoutout is for Robyn Malczyk. She is my daughter’s third grade teacher at Hyalite, and makes learning so fun for her class. We just love her!

Special shoutout to my wife, Jane, for standing with me for over 30 years!

Shoutout to my bosses Charly and Will, who celebrated 5 years of running their small business this past Sunday. They are the best folks to work for and have built such a wonderful and lively community of friends around their bakery in Bozeman. Congrats!!

My shoutout this week is to the nurses at the Cancer Center at Bozeman Deaconess. Each one is so caring and loving. I love each one of them!

Shoutout to my daughter, Sofia. Sofia sat with me and helped me fill out Christmas cards. Sofia was my stamp sticker and she did such a great job. I loved getting to spend this time with her amongst the hustle and bustle of the holiday season!

Shoutout to my partner Marty for being so patient and kind when teaching me how to ski this weekend! Even though I get frustrated, you always stay positive and encouraging.

Shoutout to my friend Lis Dogg who has always shown up for me. She's my chosen family and I can't imagine life without her!

Shoutout to my husband for accepting and supporting my immense need for Christmas cheer, even if it’s not totally his jam.

TOGETHER WITH BORDER FARM 🐐

If you’re looking for a truly unique Montana experience this winter, Border Farm’s Goat Camp is a great fit!

I got to visit the farm last week, and was struck by how smart, quirky, and social the goats were (they even responded when you called their names!).

In addition to Goat Camp, Border Farm offers a lineup of hands-on, educational classes out on their beautiful farm, including:

  • Goat-milking-only classes

  • Sourdough classes (where you leave with your own starter and a fresh loaf)

  • Herbal classes

  • Fruit vinegar and wild game classes

  • Farm tours

In Goat Camp, you learn everything from daily care and milking, to natural rearing and troubleshooting, and get to spend a whole lot of sweet, meaningful time with their goats.

Camp is for adults only, and designed to be deeply educational, super fun, and perfect whether you’re considering getting goats someday or simply want to be around animals.

Right now, all of Border Farm’s classes (including Goat Camp!) are 10% off through Christmas Eve.

You can learn more about Border Farm’s classes, see upcoming dates, and sign up for Goat Camp here!
