🎬 The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour is arriving in Bozeman this weekend!

It’s happening this Friday and Saturday (January 16th and 17th) at Willson Auditorium with three showtimes and a completely new lineup of films at each screening.

Expect world-class adventure storytelling: skiing, climbing, biking, paddling, and human-powered journeys from Montana to Patagonia to the far reaches of the globe.

Tickets are $22, with the Saturday matinee offering half-price tickets for kids 12 and under.

All proceeds from the event support the Bridger Ski Foundation, helping fund youth ski programs, scholarships, and the grooming of 80+ km of community trails.

🎬 The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour returns to Bozeman for two nights (plus an extra matinee on Saturday) of stunning adventure films at the Wilson Auditorium. Each screening features a different lineup of mountain sports and human-powered stories from around the world. Films start at 7:00pm on Friday and Saturday nights, with Saturday’s matinee starting at 2:30pm. All proceeds support Bridger Ski Foundation! Tickets.

🎨 Paint your own cozy cabin scene with Grace from Ain’t a Better Way to Paint at Bridger Brewing in Three Forks. Show up for a welcoming, step-by-step painting experience, with plenty of time to relax and create. Class starts at 5:45pm, so get there a little early to grab a drink and get settled. Tickets.

🍀 Ease into the weekend with Live Celtic Music at Valhalla Meadery from 6:00pm-8:00pm, where a full six-piece ensemble will be playing classic Celtic tunes! Details.

😂 Stop by Last Best Comedy for Friday Night Stand-Up with Dave Hill. Dave’s a comedian, writer, actor, and musician whose credits include Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Girls5eva, Inside Amy Schumer, and Joe Pera Talks with You. Shows starts at 7:00pm and 9:00pm. Tickets.

🏒 MSU Women’s Hockey hits the ice against the University of Utah at Bottcher Rink in Haynes Pavilion. The puck drops at 8:30pm! Tickets.

🏆 Join MSU for a National Championship Parade and Celebration honoring the Bobcat football team, starting at 10:00am at the Bobcat Athletic Complex! The parade will wind through downtown and finish with a rally at Bobcat Stadium. Wear gold and come celebrate a historic win! Free and open to the public. Details.

🐴 The 2026 Gallatin Skijor Invitational kicks off this weekend, on Saturday and Sunday at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. Gates open at 10:00am with racing starting at 10:30am, featuring Junior, Novice, Snowboard, and Women’s divisions. Expect fast horses, big air, and classic Montana skijoring all weekend long. The Invitational continues the following weekend (January 24th and 25th) with additional divisions. Kids 10 and under get in free with a paid adult ticket. Details.

🧘‍♀️ Saturday Slow Down at Ekam Yoga is a two-hour restorative workshop designed to help your nervous system reset and your body and mind reconnect. The experience weaves together breath work, hands-on adjustments, gentle massage, restorative yoga, and yoga nidra to guide you into deep rest. Open to all levels, with limited space. Details.

🏀 It’s Cat-Griz day for Bobcat Basketball! Show up to the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse as Montana State takes on University of Montana in a heated doubleheader, starting with the women at 2:00pm and closing the night with the men at 7:00pm. Wear gold, bring the noise, and get ready to cheer on our Bobcats! Tickets.

🛍️ 406 Flea is back with their biggest vintage market yet at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds (Exhibit Building #3) from 5:00pm-9:00pm. Shop great finds from 15+ vendors, support local creatives, and kick off your evening browsing vintage treasures. (All proceeds from their $5 bins will be donated to Thrive!) Details.

🤠 The Emerson is hosting Sunset Showdown: A Country Drag Show from 8:30pm-11:30pm. Get ready for a whole lot of boot stomping, rootin’ tootin’, and fierce looks all night long. 18+ show. Tickets.

🐴 Saddle up for YeEDM at The ELM! This all-ages Country EDM Takeover features 9B49 and Jenn N Juice mixing country anthems into a nonstop EDM party, complete with cowboy hats, jorts, and a tongue-in-cheek redneck wedding celebration. Doors at 7:00pm, show at 8:00pm. Come ready to dance! Tickets.

✨ Start your Sunday with a Magic Morning Cacao Ceremony at Wild Wisdom Collective from 9:00am-10:00am. This heart-opening gathering pairs ceremonial cacao with guided meditation and intention-setting, creating a calm, intentional space to connect with yourself and start the day feeling grounded and restored. 🍻 Join Bozeman Art Museum at Bozeman Brewing Company for a Sunday Funday from 2:00pm-8:00pm, where 10% of proceeds will go straight back to the local arts community. Details.

🎨 Bring your furry friend to life on canvas at Gallatin River Lodge from 3:30pm-6:30pm for a Paint Your Pet class with Ain’t A Better Way to Paint. Grab a ticket online, submit a photo of your pet, and Grace will pre-trace key features and prep a custom color palette for you, so you can show up, paint your pet with her guidance, and have a great time.
