🎶 Local artist Buffalo Burrows brings his Post Western sound to the Tune Up Basement Bar from 9:00pm-11:00pm. If you’ve never seen Buff, he brings amazing energy, storytelling chops, and great stage presence to every show (not to mention terrific vocals, songwriting, and guitar-playin’)! Details.

🥕 Stop by the Bozeman Winter Farmers’ Market from 9:00am-12:00pm at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds, bringing together farmers, food makers, live music, and a whole lot of Montana-grown goodness. Details.

🧘 The Bozeman Dharma Center has a New Year’s Intentions Workshop taking place from 9:00am-12:00pm. This mindful, half-day workshop explores setting intentions without self-judgment through guided meditation, journaling, and meditative inquiry. The morning will be held in companionable silence (please bring a journal!). Details.

⛷️ Build confidence on skate skis this winter with Crosscut Mountain Sports Center’s Nordic 4-Week Skate Ski Series for beginner and intermediate skiers ages 15+. The January Intro Series focuses on balance, body position, weight transfer, and coordination on gentle terrain, with sessions offered Saturdays from 12:30-2:00pm, Sundays from 10:00am-11:30am, or Tuesdays from 10:00am-11:30am. 🏀 Get your tickets for the Montana State Bobcats men’s basketball team as they host the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse at 6:00pm. Tickets.

🎷 Bits & Beats: Comedy + Jazz brings stand-up comedy and live jazz together for a throwback night inspired by 1950s-60s New York City, when comics and jazz musicians shared the same stages. 🎸 Red Tractor Pizza kicks off a Grateful Dead Night from 6:00pm-8:00pm with Ian and Friends, featuring members of Mosquitoes on the River. Expect a two-hour set of Dead favorites and pizza from Red Tractor’s newly refurbished oven. Details.

🤠 Dance the night away at Bourbon’s Country Dance Night from 8:00pm-close. There are beginner-friendly line dancing lessons from 8:00pm-9:00pm, then from 9:00pm and on, it’s open line and swing dancing. No partner needed and open to all abilities. Details.

🎻 Valhalla Meadery hosts their Celtic Music Jam from 3:30pm-5:30pm, where you can come play, listen, or dance along to classic Celtic tunes, and enjoy happy hour food and drinks while you’re there! Details.

🎙 Indie singer-songwriter Larry Myers performs at Norris Hot Springs from 7:00pm-9:30pm for a relaxed, intimate evening of live music, with some perfect tunes for soaking and unwinding before a new week. Details.

🎶 The Canoe Dealers take the stage at Bozeman Hot Springs from 7:00pm-10:00pm. Formed by Lena Marie Schiffer and Ryan Acker, this Bozeman-based folk duo blends rich vocal harmonies with banjo and acoustic guitar, performing a mix of originals and well-loved covers for a warm, full-bodied folk sound.
