This Sunday (1/11), The LAB 406 is celebrating one year in the Bozeman community with an open-to-all anniversary party from 3:30pm-7:00pm at 📍 156 Wildcat Way.

During the party, they’ll officially unveil the Ressler HitTrax, an MLB-partnered batting simulator that tracks your real swing and shows the full virtual flight of the ball inside a big-league stadium (think golf simulator, but for baseball). There will be:

  • Open batting cages + HitTrax demos

  • Bat demos and gear booths

  • Drinks and snacks

  • A raffle for a free private HitTrax event or party for you and your friends or family

  • A ribbon cutting with Ressler

Even if you haven’t been over there yet, this is a perfect excuse to stop by, check out the space, and celebrate with them!

🥕 The Bozeman Winter Farmers’ Market is back from 9:00am-12:00pm at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds! Stop by for lots of delicious food, live music, and friendly faces! Details.

🦅 The Museum of the Rockies hosts their Raptor Meet & Greet from 10:00am-11:00am in the Hager Auditorium. Meet incredible birds of prey from the Montana Raptor Conservation Center and learn about raptor conservation and rehabilitation. Details.

🏮 Stop by the Gallatin County Fairgrounds (Exhibition Building #4) for a Community Lantern Building Workshop with Random Acts of Silliness for all ages (5+ with an adult)! Drop in and create glowing globes or willow-framed lanterns in two free, come-and-go workshops this weekend, happening Saturday from 4:00pm-7:00pm and Sunday from 1:00pm-4:00pm. No registration required! Details.

🏀 The Bobcats women’s basketball team are playing the Idaho Vandals at 2:00pm at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse! MSU faculty and staff receive free admission, with family members admitted for $5 per person. Details.

🎷 Enjoy a performance of live acoustic jazz at the Bozeman Public Library from 2:00pm-4:00pm. The series features rotating local musicians in the 2nd-floor magazine corner, with Craig Hall and Kearen Samsel performing this week. Details.

🎨 Bozeman High-Lights - a curated exhibition from the Bozeman High School Art Club - is having their opening reception at Bozeman Art Museum from 5:30pm-7:30pm. The show highlights selections from the club’s permanent collection and celebrates student work! Details.

🎭 Last Best Comedy returns with their latest Notorious BOZ show at 7:00pm for a night of true stories turned into long-form improv comedy, featuring guest monologist and artist Emily Gonzales. Hear Emily share real stories from her life, then watch the cast spin them into hilarious, fully improvised scenes. 18+. Details.

🏒 Bozeman Stingers Hockey takes on the McCall Mountaineers in a home game from 7:30pm-9:30pm at the Haynes Pavilion. Doors open at 6:45pm, youth 10 and under get in free, and all ages welcome. Details.

🎵 Visit the Tune Up Bar for live music from Abby Webster & her Imaginary Band starting at 9:00pm, blending folk, country, and indie rock inspired by the natural world. Details.

Sunday 1/10

The LAB 406 turns 1 and is celebrating with their community anniversary party from 3:30pm-7:00pm at 156 Wildcat Way in town. Stop by for open batting cages, demos of the new Ressler HitTrax MLB-partnered simulator, bat and gear booths, drinks and snacks, plus a raffle for a free private HitTrax party! This is a great chance to check out Bozeman’s indoor baseball and softball training hub and celebrate. RSVP here.

🎺 Bridger Mountain Big Band plays from 7:00pm-9:30pm at the Eagles Club! This 17-piece jazz orchestra plays everything from early 1900s classics to modern favorites, and is a perfect chance to enjoy a laid-back Sunday night downtown. Details.

💃 Join the Latin dance crew at The Zebra for a night of salsa and bachata. Kick things off with an intermediate lesson from 6:00pm-7:30pm, then stick around for open dancing from 7:30pm-10:00pm on a dedicated dance floor. Details.

🎶 Peter King performs at Bozeman Hot Springs at 7:00pm. The frontman of Bozeman country-rock band The Dead Yellers, Peter King is performing an easygoing, crowd-pleasing set of originals and covers to wind down the week. Details.
