Howdy Bozeman just turned one year old! It’s been the biggest honor to curate for you, connect with you, and support our incredible town and community - and I can’t wait to continue to build out my vision for making something special for Bozeman. We’re just getting started 😊
On a whim, I tried out for Bozeman’s talent show (the Beast of Bozeman, happening tonight), somehow got in, and will be performing this evening at the Emerson - I’d love to see y’all there, and they have a few tickets left, which you can find here.

Pub 317’s Annual Run to the Pub is next Saturday, March 14th!
Starting and finishing at Pub 317, Run to the Pub has a Half Marathon (9:30am) and 10K (9:45am) through Bozeman.
Participants can win one of four spots for a trip to Dublin, Ireland, to join in on a local race and get a VIP tour of the Guinness brewery.
Race entry includes a signature Pub 317 pint glass, post-race beer, long-sleeve shirt, finisher medal, after-party access, and live beats from DJ Missy O’Malley at the start/finish line.
Wear your best green outfit to compete for best-dressed awards, and I’ll see you there!

🌱 Stop by the Outdoor Living Expo at Phoenix Garden Center (1770 Cobb Hill Road) on Saturday, March 7th, and Sunday, March 8th for a free weekend celebrating the start of gardening season. ⛷️ Crosscut Mountain Sports Center is hosting a Community Free Ski Day from 9:00am-4:00pm. Trails will be open to everyone for a free day of cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or fat biking (conditions permitting). Reserve your free day pass online before arriving. Details.
🎨 The Threlfall Fine Art Supply & Gallery is celebrating its grand opening at 10:00am at 96 Laura Louise Ln., Unit 16. Stop by to explore Bozeman’s new fine art supply store, share ideas to help shape the space, and enter a raffle while meeting the team. Details.
🍎 Visit the Bozeman Winter Farmers Market from 9:00am-12:00pm at the Fairgrounds, where you can shop seasonal veggies, artisan foods, and handcrafted gifts while supporting local growers and makers. Details.
🌎 Inspiration Hall in Norm Asbjornson Hall at MSU hosts the annual Climate and Health in the 406 conference from 8:30am-4:45pm. This day-long conference brings together experts to explore the impact of climate on public health in Montana. Details.
⛷️ Ride & Seek returns to Bridger Bowl from 10:00am-2:00pm for a mountain-wide ski scavenger hunt supporting the Bridger Bowl Foundation. Ski or ride around the mountain finding hidden checkpoints to raise funds for local youth skiing programs. Details.

🩰 Sleeping Beauty comes to the Willson Auditorium this weekend with the Bozeman Symphony, conducted by Norman Huynh, performing Tchaikovsky’s iconic score alongside this beloved story ballet. Performances are Saturday, March 7th at 2:00pm and 7:00pm, and Sunday, March 8th at 2:00pm, bringing breathtaking dancing, beautiful music, and stunning visuals to the stage. Details.
🦞 The second annual Mardi Craw is happening from 4:00pm-8:00pm at the Tune Up Bar. Celebrate Mardi Gras with an all-you-can-eat crawfish boil, live music, and plenty of festive vibes. Details.
🎤 Bozeman’s talent show - the Beast of Bozeman - is happening at the Emerson Center from 7:00pm-9:30pm for a high-energy showcase of local talent. Thirteen acts will take the stage competing for audience votes, making for a fun night of music, performance, and community entertainment. Tickets.
🎭 The Curators, an original sci-fi play by Bozeman writer Olivia Olson, is running at Verge Theater this Saturday at 7:00pm, and Sunday at 3:00pm. Set in the mid-2400s after the collapse of the Old World, the story follows a mission to rebuild humanity on a distant planet. Details.
🎬 The Man Who Saves the World? screens at 7:00pm at the Ellen Theatre, hosted by the Bozeman Film Society and Defenders of Wildlife. This acclaimed documentary follows spiritual leader Patrick McCollum on a globe-spanning journey tied to an ancient prophecy. Arrive early for a 6:30pm soundbath, then stay for a post-film panel featuring director Gabe Polsky and experts discussing bison restoration across the Great Plains. Details.
❄️ Cosmic Tubing is back at Yellowstone Alliance Adventures from 7:00pm-9:00pm! Cosmic tubing combines the thrill of tubing with glowing lights and fun music for a high-energy winter night under the stars. Tickets.
🎤 A secret pop-up comedy show is happening in Bozeman at 8:00pm (doors at 7:30pm). The indoor location is kept secret until the morning of the event (Saturday morning), when ticket holders receive the address by email at 8:00am). It’s a 21+ show with drinks available for purchase and limited tickets remaining. Details.
💃 The Grey Dog Bar is throwing a Bad Bunny Dance Party featuring DJ Pan Dulce spinning Bad Bunny plus new and classic Latin hits all night long. Music starts at 9:00pm and goes until 2:00am, with happy hour from 6:30pm-8:00pm and discounted entry for students with ID. Details.
😂 Whiz BANG! hits Last Best Comedy at 9:00pm for a fast-paced night of interactive short-form improv. Expect big laughs, audience participation, and an hour of high-energy comedy. Details.
Sunday 3/8
🧘 Harmony & Healing Sound Ceremony takes place from 6:15pm-7:15pm at Wild Wisdom Collective. This tranquil sound bath experience features gongs, crystal and Tibetan bowls, and guided Reiki energy work designed to promote deep relaxation and balance. Details.
💪 The Pitt Training Facility hosts a Women’s Workshop from 10:00am-12:00pm. This free International Women’s Day event invites women to connect, focus on recovery, and learn more about women’s health from local experts, with mini sessions, refreshments, giveaways, and access to the sauna and red light therapy. 🥌 If the Winter Olympics have inspired you to try curling, the Bozeman Curling Club is hosting a Learn to Curl session from 2:45pm-4:45pm at Gallatin Ice at the Fairgrounds. The free event introduces the basics of throwing stones and sweeping. Registration required! Details.
