TOGETHER WITH YELLOWSTONE ALLIANCE ADVENTURES

Summer’s just around the corner, and it’s the perfect time to check out Yellowstone Alliance Adventures (YAA).

YAA runs epic summer camps for kids and teens just outside Bozeman, offering everything from hiking and ziplining to campfires and team-building games, all in a beautiful mountain setting.

They’ve got tons of camps for kids grades 1–12, and it’s the perfect way for kids to unplug, make new friends, and build confidence.

🎵 The 25th Annual Music on Main returns to Downtown Bozeman this summer! This year’s lineup was just announced, with the free concert series running Thursday evenings, July 3-August 7, from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Check out the full lineup of bands here.

🎷 KGVM 95.9 Jazz Night Benefit Concert celebrates the station's 7th birthday at the Gallatin Labor Temple on Friday, May 9th (doors at 7pm, music at 8pm). Enjoy The Alex Robilotta Trio, The Any Everything, and a jazz jam session. Suggested donation $15, plus a 50/50 raffle to support our community radio station. Details.

Wednesday 5/7

🏃 Winddrinkers Fun Run at Hyalite Canyon Road at 6:30pm. Take advantage of the road closure for a car-free run up the canyon. Meet at the First Gate at Hyalite Canyon Road. Details.

🎵 Rock'N Bingo at It Will Always Be That Way Lounge from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Play this unique twist on bingo with songs instead of numbers, featuring music from all genres. Free to play with prizes to win. Details.

Thursday 5/8

🦖 The Black Market of Dinosaur Fossils with Riley Black at the Museum of the Rockies from 6:00pm-9:00pm. This joint event with the Montana World Affairs Council explores fossil smuggling and the black market dinosaur trade. Ticket includes three-course dinner, two drinks, and gratuity. Tickets.

🌱 Restoration Thursday: Revegetation at Mandeville Creek (near Springhill) from 1:00pm-4:30pm. Join the Madison Gallatin Chapter of Trout Unlimited for an afternoon of harvesting and staking willows and planting trees and shrubs. Help restore vital creek ecosystems through this volunteer opportunity. Sign up here.

Friday 5/9

🎂 The Emerson's 32nd Birthday & Open House at The Emerson Center from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Celebrate with traditional cake and strawberries in the Lobby Gallery while enjoying the season's first Art Walk. New exhibits will be unveiled and studios throughout the building will welcome visitors. Details.

🍝 Spaghetti Feed & Dessert Auction benefiting the Olsen Family from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Support Kavi Olsen, a young child recovering from seizures, through this fundraising dinner and auction. Proceeds will help with ongoing therapies, medication, and medical debt. Details.

Saturday 5/10

💎 Bozeman Gem & Mineral Club Show at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds (Exhibition Buildings 1 & 2). Saturday 10:00am-6:00pm, Sunday 10:00am-4:00pm. This family-friendly event features 27 vendors, kids' games and activities, a fluorescent tent, silent auctions, an amethyst raffle, food area, and incredible displays. Details.

🧑‍🌾 Stop by the Bozeman Winter Farmer’s Market from 9:00am-12:00pm, located at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. Details.

👢 Country Dancing with Western Roots at Bourbon from 8:00pm-12:00am. Line dancing lessons from 8pm-9pm. Perfect for beginners and experienced dancers alike! Details.

Sunday 5/11

🎨 Ain’t A Better Way To Paint is hosting a paint-and-sip at Bar 3 Bar-B-Q (Belgrade) from 4:00pm-6:00pm. This beginner-friendly painting class includes all supplies needed to create your own Grand Tetons masterpiece. Tickets.

🎭 Hansel and Gretel at The Ellen Theatre at 3:00pm. Experience this family-friendly opera featuring Engelbert Humperdinck's lush orchestration and gorgeous melodies. The Brothers Grimm fairy tale comes to life with performances by the Opera Montana Youth Chorus. Tickets.

Meet Annie, a 12-year-old pup in search of a new home. 🐶

Meet Indiana, a playful, loving 7-year-old cat with a medical condition, looking to fill her remaining time a warm and loving home. 🐈️
