⏰ Last call for trivia lovers!

Registration for Greater Gallatin United Way’s “Once Upon a Trivia Night” ends at midnight this Sunday (12:00am on 11/2), so assemble a team and sign up while there’s still time!

It’s happening next Monday, 11/3, from 6:00pm-8:30pm at Bourbon for a storybook-themed evening of trivia, raffles, prizes, and good vibes, supporting GGUW’s early learning and kidsLINK programs.

Teams of four are $100 total, costumes are encouraged, and some serious bragging rights are on the line.

(This is a perfect event to attend with your coworkers, friends, or family, for a lot of fun supporting a good cause.)

🩸 There’s an American Red Cross Blood Drive at Billings Clinic Bozeman, with appointment times available between 9:45am and 2:00pm. Donate blood and help save lives! Appointments are required, just enter a local zip code and book a time on this page.

🍬 It’s Downtown Bozeman Trick-or-Treating on Main Street from 4-6pm, with 100+ businesses handing out candy, rain, snow, or shine! Free to attend. (Main Street will be closed from Grand to Church from 3:00pm-7:00pm). Details.

🛍️ Malloween Trick-or-Treat is happening at Gallatin Crossing from 4:00pm-6:00pm! Enjoy free candy, photos, and festive fun while supporting the Gallatin Valley Food Bank (event is free, but they request that each kid brings at least one non-perishable food donation). Register in advance here.

🏥 Join Bozeman Health’s Trick-or-Treat event from 3:00pm-5:00pm at the hospital! Stay warm and safe while collecting treats throughout the hospital (park in Lot C and start at Entrance 4). Free to attend! Details.

👻 The Anderson School Haunted House is this Friday and Saturday, with lights-on from 5:30-6:30pm, and lights-off from 6:30-10pm! Tickets are $12.51, with concessions and free parking onsite. Details.

🎳 Ponderosa Social is hosting a Halloween Costume Party & Haunted Bowling event. Enjoy $5 bowling from 9pm-1:30am, drink specials, and a $600 cash prize for best costume (announced at midnight). Plus, a free strike contest, late-night bites menu, and prizes for best group costume. Details.

💄 The Witching Hour Drag Show takes over The Eagles Ballroom from 8:30pm-11:30pm. Celebrate Halloween with haunting performances, killer costumes, and a night of fierce energy and fun. Ages 21+. Details.

🧙‍♂️ Step into The Black Cauldron Tavern at The Chateau Event Center (Four Corners) from 6:30pm-11:00pm, for an immersive DnD-inspired Halloween event filled with quests, creative challenges, live music, and tavern bites. Enjoy a pay bar (21+), costume contest, and side quests with Valhalla, Rooks, and Element Tattoo. Ages 18+. Tickets and details here.

🎸 The Monster Mash Bash: Nightmare on Mendenhall concert takes over the Armory Music Hall at 6:00pm with live sets from Jampoke, Colourblind, and STiLGONE. Dress to impress for a shot at costume prizes! Ages 18+, $15 entry. Details.

👽 From 6:30-9:00pm, Tinworks Art hosts a free E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial screening downtown at The Rialto, with an all-ages costume contest. Enjoy popcorn, candy, and warm drinks available by donation. Details.

🎸 It’s Signal Fire’s Halloween Mash concert at The Filling Station from 8:00pm-11:30pm. Daze Between will open, and they’ll be joined by special guests Olivia Hart on vocals and horn players from local band Hornbread. Tickets are $10 online, $15 at the door. Details.

Saturday 11/1

🥕 Stop by Chance Farm for a Pop-Up Market & Stock-Up Sale from 9:00am-12:00pm at 67 Rocky Road! Shop fresh veggies, garlic, and bulk produce, plus local goods from Black Dog Farm, Spain Bridge Farm, and Grotto Meats. Details.

🎿 The Bridger Ski Foundation’s BSF Ski Swap returns to the Gallatin County Fairgrounds for its 57th year! Shop 10,000+ items of skis, boards, boots, and winter gear (with 20% of sales supporting Bridger Ski Foundation’s local programs and trails). 🎸 The Waiting: Tom Petty Birthday Halloween Tribute comes to the Armory Music Hall with a night of Tom Petty classics. Costumes encouraged, with prizes for best overall and Alice in Wonderland-themed looks! Local blues band Emma & The Ledge will rock the stage from 7:00pm-8:00pm, and The Waiting plays from 8:30pm-10:30pm. (Tickets are $10.) Details.

⛷️ Come watch the Bozeman Premiere of ski film “After The Snowfall” at The Emerson from 7:00pm-9:00pm (doors at 6:00pm), for a celebration of powder days, mountain adventures, and the love of skiing. Details.

Sunday 11/2

🐾 Bring your pup to the MSU Pre-Vet Club’s Fall Dog Wash from 8:00am-5:00pm at Montana Murray Kennels in Belgrade for a wash ($20 small, $25 medium, $30 large). Proceeds support the MSU Pre-Vet Club’s programs and vet school trip. Walk-ins welcome! Details.

🪶 Catch the family film Fly Away Home at The Ellen Theatre at 3:00pm! This heartwarming, beautifully shot story follows a young girl and her flock of orphaned geese on a fascinating migration journey. Tickets are $5, with a chance to win a bird feeder from Wild Birds Unlimited. Details.

💀 Día de los Muertos Ofrenda y Compartir, hosted by local org Bienvenidos, takes place at Homeward Point (208 E. Griffin Dr) from 1:00pm-5:00pm. Celebrate the Day of the Dead with community, remembrance, and shared offerings. Free and open to everyone. Details.
