Design submissions are open for the 45th Annual Christmas Stroll Poster Contest!

The winning artist will have their design featured as the official 2025 poster, get local media coverage, and a $200 prize, courtesy of the Downtown Bozeman Association.

Make sure you submit your entry before the deadline on Friday, October 31st @ 5:00pm.

🎤 Pecha Kucha Bozeman returns to The Ellen Theatre tonight, for an eclectic evening of diverse speakers sharing their passions and ideas. Tickets and details here.

👗 Bozeman Fashion Week runs September 11–13, 2025, with runway shows, workshops, a clothing swap, vendors, music, and a lively block party. Celebrate local fashion, sustainability, and community, and visit the event page for full details, here.

🌲 Roots Family Collective has another Fresh Air Families event, with an end-of-summer family hike up to Palisade Falls at Hyalite Reservoir. They will meet at 9:15am, and start the hike at 9:30am. This is a great opportunity for caregivers to explore Bozeman trails and building community, where you can hike at your own pace. All families welcome including expecting parents. 🎭 Verge Theater presents a staged reading of “What the Constitution Means to Me” - a boundary-breaking play exploring freedoms guaranteed (and not guaranteed) by the US Constitution. Free to attend with suggested $20 donation, reservations available here. (Multiple shows, at 8pm on Friday, 8pm on Saturday, and 5pm on Sunday).

🖼️ It’s the final Final Summer Art Walk downtown from 6:00pm-8:00pm, and at The Emerson from 5:00pm-8:00pm! Stop by to support local artists, grab some free snacks and drinks, and catch live street musicians on Main Street. Details.

🧑‍🌾 It’s the last Gallatin Valley Farmers' Market of the season at the Fairgrounds (back at the Haynes Pavilion) from 9:00am-12:00pm. See you there! Details.

🏃 The Belgrade Montana Fall Festival runs from 7:00am-4:00pm with a packed day of activities! Start with the 5K family fun run and pancake breakfast, enjoy the homecoming parade at 10:00am, then check out the car show, vendor booths with arts and crafts, food trucks, and kids zone. Details.

🎸 Bozeman-born artist Ava Swan is finishing her September tour with a show at Roly-Poly Coffee on Broadway Ave, to celebrate her debut album 'Sun Safari'. Tickets available at the door, show starts at 7:30pm (with local band Stonefruit playing, too). Details.

🏈 MSU Bobcats take on San Diego at Bobcat Stadium on Saturday at 1:00pm! Tickets are almost sold out, so grab yours soon if you want to catch the Cats in action at home. Tickets here.

✨ Enchanted Evenings in Bumblewood returns from 5:30pm-7:30pm at Glen Lake Rotary Park. Hosted by Random Acts of Silliness, enjoy a magical trail walk with live music, dance, and storytelling. Details.

🦙 Comedy with Alpacas at Alpacas of Montana (8255 S. Cottonwood Road) from 6:00pm-8:00pm! Meet and greet alpacas on arrival, then enjoy an evening of standup comedy. 🎵 Singing Souls Senior Sing-along at the Bozeman Public Library (Community Room) from 3:30pm-5:00pm! Led by local musician Kate Bryan, this casual gathering welcomes seniors aged 50+ to sing familiar songs spanning generations and genres. No singing experience necessary - lyrics projected on screen. Bring your love of music and a friend! Details.

📰 Free Press Fest returns to MSU campus September 16th-18th for a dynamic 3-day journalism conference. Montana Free Press presents keynotes, panels, and workshops with thought leaders, policy experts, authors, independent journalists, and engaged Montana citizens. Details here.

🎣 Women's Fly Fishing Social: Fall Flies & Tactics at Field & Stream Lodge (Dry Fly Saloon) from 5:00pm-7:00pm! Host Lindsay Kocka covers Montana fall fly selection, insect hatches, and rigging tactics for all experience levels. Includes educational clinic, networking time, and small bites.
